Irene Paschal Shelton

Irene Paschal Shelton, 98 of Reidsville passed away peacefully at Highgrove Longterm Care Center on March 26th, 2021. A graveside service will be held at 11 A.M. Tuesday, March 30, 2021 at Pleasant View Assembly of God Church cemetery with Rev. William "Bill" McKinney officiating. Irene was born in Brunswick County Virginia to the late Harvey and Mattie Paschal. She loved to work in her flowers and rose bushes. She was an excellent babysitter and kept many children over the years. Most of all, she loved visiting with her family and neighbors. She will be greatly missed. Along with her parents, she is preceded in death by her two husbands, Ellis Jones and Jim Shelton; son, Paul Jones; 5 sisters and 7 brothers. Irene is survived by her daughter, Janice Mabe (Ted); son, Jerry Shelton and granddaughter, Nicole Shelton along with a loving extended family.
