Ioane was known or called by all, John or Uncle Johnny. He was cherished by all because of his indescribable caring nature, infectious smile, deep love for family and friends and most of all his unwavering love and faith in God.
John was the structure in all our family gatherings. Always in command while cooking, cleaning and instructing kids in what needed to be done, and kids would respond with respect. When someone calls or needs help, he tends to everyone’s need or want despite his health illnesses. John was a mentor to all our kids, passing words of wisdom and sharing life experiences. John has tremendously helped raise our kids from young to adulthood throughout the years. He filled fatherhood shoes for all the boys, from church functions, family gatherings, school pick up/ drop offs and the lists go on. His unwavering support for all will be etched in all our hearts.
John was a man of strong faith who loved the Lord deeply. Even when facing illness, he continued to show kindness and compassion to everyone around him. He was known for helping anyone in need and always putting others before himself. He loved his family dearly and played a big part in raising and caring for all our children. His guidance, love, and support meant so much to all and his presence will be deeply missed. He will always be remembered for his humility, generosity, strong faith and he shared with everyone who knew him. His legacy of kindness and faith will continue to live on in many lives he touched.
