Henry David Jones

Henry David Jones, 70, of Reidsville, passed away Friday, October 17, 2025.

A celebration of his life will be held at a later date.

Dave was born in Rockingham County to the late John Richard and Betty Stewart Jones, Sr.

He was a loving husband and father, devoted to his family above all else. He had a lifelong passion for music and enjoyed sharing that gift with others whenever he could. A very smart man and a natural storyteller, he could always make people smile with his quick wit and memorable tales. He had a gift for fixing just about anything and was always the first to lend a hand. Most of all, he never met a stranger—his kindness, warmth, and generosity left a lasting impression on everyone he met.

In addition to his parents, Dave was preceded in death by his sister, Faith Jones; and his brothers, Johnny Jones and Douglas Jones.

He is survived by his wife of six years, Judith Martinez-Juarez; his son, Joshua Jones, and wife, Jammie; his grandson, Grayson; and his sister, Susan Madison, along with many nieces, nephews, and step-grandchildren.
