Helen Bibee Sharp

Helen Bibee Sharp, 84, of 603 Barnes Street went home to be with The Lord Tuesday, April 11, 2023, at her home.

Funeral services will be held 11:00 AM Thursday, April 13, 2023, at Wilkerson Funeral Home with Dr. Lance Cole officiating and the burial will follow at Ruffin Stacey Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends Wednesday, April 12, 2023, from 6:00 – 8:00 PM at the funeral home.

Helen, affectionately known by her grandchildren as “Nanny”, was born in Caswell County to the late John Willie and Mossie Huskey Smithey. She retired from Monarch Hosiery after 30 years of service. She attended Reidsville Baptist Church when she was able. She adored her children and grandchildren, always enjoying time together, telling stories and sharing memories. Along with her parents, she was also preceded in death by her 2 husbands, James “Billy” Bibee and Paul Sharp; son Danny Bibee; daughters Judy Bibee and Sonya Bibee.

Nanny is survived by her son Tim Bibee and wife Deb; grandchildren Rocky Bibee and wife Cindy, Craig Bibee and wife Crystal, and Josh Bibee and wife Courtney; great grandchildren Isaac, Austin, and Mason; beloved sister and caregiver Kay Smithey; and beloved dog Tippy.
