Harry Lee Allen

Eden– Harry Lee Allen., 74, of Eden,died   peacefully on Sunday, April 27, 2008, at Annie Penn Hospital. Funeral services will be held   at 2:00 PM, Wednesday, April 30, 2008 at Wilkerson Funeral Home, with   Rev. Mark   Todozieski, Rev. Dave Huggins and Rev. Dan Jones officiating. Interment will follow at Greenview Cemetery.   Pallbearers will be Steve Allen, Mike Allen, Greg Allen, David Hundley, Adam. Hundley and   Keith Carter. Mr. Allen was a native of Rockingham County.   He served in the U. S. Army and retired from Sears Mail Order in 1993.   He was a member of First Congregational Christian Church. He was preceded in death by his father, Joe H. Allen; mother, Frances French Allen and brother , Penn Allen. He is survived by his wife, Myra Hurst Allen of the home, mother-in-law, Lora Hurst of Eden; brother Joe Henry Allen, Jr. and wife, Dorothy of Lynchburg, Va.; sister, Charlene Kelly and husband, Willie of Reidsville; sister-in-law, Geneva Allen of Eden; nephews, Steve, Mike and Greg Allen; nieces, Robin Hundley, Martha Carter and Angela Blanks; cousins, Sherwood and Reid King, and a   special friend, Eddie Paschal. The family will receive friends from 7:00- 9:00 PM, Tuesday, April 29, 2008, at Wilkerson Funeral Home and other times at the residence, 1548 Quesinberry Road, Eden.
