Harold Sands

Harold Sands, 88, of Reidsville, went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, December 21, 2024.

A graveside service will be held at Evergreen Memorial Gardens on Thursday, December 26, 2024, at 11:00 A.M., with Pastor Marty Brim officiating.

Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by his siblings, Ruth, Henry, and Francis; and neice Mirian.

Harold was born in Rockingham County to the late Everette and Lillie Sands. He enjoyed watching Atlanta Braves baseball games and painting watercolor pictures in his free time. Harold was a simple man who loved everyone. He enjoyed joking with people and cooking for church gatherings at Wentworth Presbyterian Church.

Harold is survived by his wife of 66 years, Lois Sands; his children, Steve (Stephanie) and Gerri (Rodney); his grandsons, Terry Lee and Travis; his great-grandchild, Noelan; niece, Cathy; and nephew, Dell.
