Geraldine Stanley

Geraldine Stanley, 77, passed away on Thursday, April 15, 2021 at High Grove Assisted Living Center in Reidsville. A graveside service will be held at 2:00PM on Tuesday, April 20, 2021 at Reidlawn Cemetery. Friends and Family are invited to come to the funeral home, Tuesday morning from 9:30AM-12:00PM to see Mrs. Stanley and sign the register book. Geraldine was born on November 17, 1943 to the late Elmer and Elsie Stone in Virginia. Geraldine will be remembered for her long red hair and had passion for music and enjoyed singing and playing guitar. She also enjoyed doing cross stich, sewing, and creating things with her hands. More than anything she loved her family, especially her daughter and granddaughter, and was proud to be a Momma and Nana. She will be dearly missed by all who knew her. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her daughter, Kimberly Walker Sutherland; sister, Brenda Stone and sister-in-law, Cindy Stone. She is survived by her granddaughter, Ashley Sutherland (Brandon Reel); great-granddaughter; Nevaeh Dawn Reel; brother, Clinton Stone and numerous other extended family.
