Georgia Mounts Wheeler

Reidsville – Georgia Mounts Wheeler, 98, died Tuesday, December 23, 2008 at Heartland Living and Rehabilitation Center in Greensboro. The family will have a private memorial service. Mrs. Wheeler was born in Fort Gay, WV to the late Harvey and Roxie Davis Mounts. She was employed with the U.S. Government and later was a homemaker. She was a member of Hunter Hills Baptist Church and was preceded in death by her husband, Robert C. Wheeler; daughter, Roberta W. Brannock; sister, Mabel Hubbard and Brother; Stuart Mounts. She is survived by her granddaughter, Vicki Hunt and husband, Thomas of Summerfield; great grandchildren, Paul O’Neal and wife, Julie, Shannon Headen and husband, Darryl; step grandchildren, Gina, Tammy, Shelly and Tamra; special sister-in-law, Winifred Curry of Aiken, SC; nieces and nephews, Bernard, Ernie, Lorie, Danny and Faye; 11 great great Grandchildren; sister; Janie Clements of Fort Gay, WV. The family would like to thank the caregivers and staff of Heartland Living and Rehabilitation for their excellent care.
