Geneva Carter Pulliam

Geneva Carter Pulliam, 87, of Reidsville, passed away on Saturday, February 26, 2022, at Annie Penn Hospital.

A graveside service will be held at 11:00 AM Wednesday, March 2, 2022, at Reidlawn Cemetery with Rev. Peter Dodge officiating. 

Geneva was born in Rockingham County to the late John Frank Carter and Mary Gammon Carter.  She attended Bibleway Community Church and worked in the textile industry for many years.  She raised 6 children and had a very strong faith and loved her Lord.  She was a huge Conway Twitty fan, loved gardening and working in her yard, and listening to gospel music.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a son, Marshall Strader; daughters, Betty Joe Easter and Denise Huffines; grandson, Drew Strader; brothers, Clarence, Bernell and Frank Carter, Jr.; sister, Fay Branch.

She is survived by her sons, Roger Dale Strader and Clint Pulliam; daughter, Tammy Strader; grandchildren, Daisy May Easter, Tawny Strader, James Hair, James Strader and Rebecca Strader; 4 great grandchildren; brother, Ray Carter (Linda); sisters, Ruth McNeil and Kay Perkins (Larry); numerous nieces and nephews.
