Gary Reid Strader

Gary Reid Strader, 65, of Reidsville, went home to be with his Lord and loved ones on Saturday, August 2, 2020. Graveside funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM Saturday, August 8, 2020 at Christian Fellowship Church with Rev. Bill McKinney officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Gary was born in Rockingham County. He was a dump truck operator and a member of Christian Fellowship Church. He loved building and flying radio control airplanes, Ford cars and fishing. He was preceded in death by his father Raeford Strader; wife, Polly Strader; son, Gary Ray Strader; grandson, Michael McDaniel; step daughter, Joyce McDaniel; brothers, Wayne and Mike Strader. He is survived by his son, Nathan Strader (Brandi); daughters, Melissa Strader(Adam) and Crystal Strader (Steven); grandchildren, Miranda, Mason, McKenzie, Diamond, Kaitlyn and Blake Strader, Joshua McDaniel, Leanna Sutton, Matthew and Braxton Brown, Bently Barrett, Grace and Ella Knight, Micah and Ethan Curry; great grandchild, Dominic; mother, Betty Kennon Strader; brother, Ricky Strader (Kathi); sister, Robin Strader (Wayne); daughter-in-law, Marsha Strader; sister-in-law, Kathy Strader.
