Ferris "Jay" Joseph Belmany, III

Ferris “Jay” Joseph Belmany, III, 63, of Reidsville, went home to be with the Lord on Monday, June 8, 2026, surrounded by his family. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM, Friday, June 12, 2026 at Wilkerson Funeral Home with Pastor Mike Jones and Bishop Morris Morehead officiating. Burial will follow at Reidlawn Cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service and other times at the home.

Jay was born in Rockingham County to Ferris Joseph "Sonny" Belmany, Jr. and Rebecca Lovelace. He was a good, hard-working man — strong, caring, and a superhero to his daughter. A master carpenter by trade, he was driven and took pride in doing things the right way. He loved playing the guitar, spending time outdoors, whether it was playing softball, watching races, playing golf, or doing what he loved most — fishing. He also loved the beach and enjoyed any chance to be near the water. More than anything, he loved his family, and those who knew him knew how deeply he loved and cared for them.

In addition to his father, Ferris Joseph "Sonny" Belmany, Jr., Jay was preceded in death by his wife, Tammy Rose Belmany. He is survived by his wife, Sheri Belmany; mother, Rebecca Lovelace and husband, Jack; daughter, Valerie Rose Johnson and husband, Terry; stepdaughter, Casey Brown and husband, Justin; grandchildren, Joseph Nathan Fagg, Summer Rose Fagg, Landon Brown, Christopher Brown, Hailey Brown, and Bailey Brown; sisters, Sharon Toler and husband, Alan, and Teresa Belmany; three aunts, one uncle, and numerous nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made through the funeral home to help assist with funeral expenses.
