Faye Strader Bowen

Faye Strader Bowen 76, of Reidsville went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, August 9, 2022.

A graveside memorial service will be held at 11 AM on Saturday, August 13, 2022, at Mount Carmel United Methodist Church Cemetery with Pastor Cress Warner officiating.

Faye was born in Rockingham County to the late Allen Thomas Strader and Maggie Strader. She had many friends that enjoyed her fun-loving attitude and laugh, she was always the life of the party wherever she was. She enjoyed working, decorating, and staying busy as much as possible. Her energy will be carried on in the hearts of all that knew her. A special thank you to Highgrove Assisted Living staff for making her feel at home. 

Along with her parents she is preceded in death by her son, Jason Ted Roberts; sister, Betty S Montgomery; brothers, Robert Strader and Charles Strader.

Faye is survived by her daughter, Leigh Ann Roberts; grandchildren, Ashley Craddock (JP) and Tyler Dickerson (Jessica); great grandchildren, Dakotah and Waylon Craddock, Aria and Iris Dickerson; brother, Thomas Dwane Strader (Teri) as well as a large and loving extended family.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Wilkerson Funeral Home for her final expenses.
