Gone is last of a generation of Moricles. A great family and wonderful friends. I did not know Ella May like I knew so many of the other brothers and sisters, but all these Eastsider families had deep roots. Ella Mae was my daddy's (David Lee Butler) age. And my grandmother, Jimmie Butler, knew them all and loved them all. My heart goes out to Ella Mae's family and to the extend great Moricle family that made Walnut Street famous. Much love and God's peace to you all. So many wonderful people I miss so much up and down Walnut St, and all the streets of the neighborhood that raised me.
