Alice was born on December 10, 1949 to the late Jake and Eleanor Lortz on an US Army base in Frankfurt, Germany. Everyone who knew her will remember her love of cooking and crocheting “Alice’s Works of Heart”. She loved her family and many special friends, but more than anything she loved her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. Alice will be dearly missed by all who knew her.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 49 years, Dennis Farmer; sister, Helen Lortz Doss, as well as her great granddaughter, Araya Cline.

Alice is survived by her children, Jay Farmer and wife, Tammy, Beth Farmer Jerrell and husband, Michael; grandchildren, Michael Jerrell, Crystal Jerrell, Ashley Cline and husband, Tevin, Adam Farmer and husband Seth, Taryn Rigney and husband Wayne, Hannah Hunter and husband Brett, Jayce Farmer and Emily Jerrell and boyfriend, Hunter O’Donnell; great grandchildren, Tevin Cline Jr. “Little T”, Jonah Rigney, Hadley Jerrell, and Cheyenne Rigney; brothers, Ernest Lortz and wife, Thelma of Edgar Springs, MO, Thomas Lortz and wife, Geraldine of Cuba, MO, David Lortz and wife, Lynn of Roland, OK; as well as a large and loving extended family.
