Dwayne Edmond Shelton, age 65 passed away Thursday, August 13, 2026. A funeral service will be held Monday, August 17th, 2026, at 3:00 p.m. at Bethany Community Church with Andrew Moore officiating. The burial will follow at the church cemetery. The family will receive friends at the church one hour prior to the service.
Dwayne was preceded in death by his father Donnie Clifton Shelton.
He is survived by his wife, Donna Shelton; mother, Judy Rice (Charles); brothers, Donnie Ray Shelton (Debbie), Wes Shelton (Michelle), Robbie Shelton; sisters, Kaye Steele and Kathy O ‘Bryant; daughters; Cadace Garrison (Keith) and Amber Brown; grandchildren, Ashlyn, Grayson, Ella, Owen, and Levi.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Ancora Compassionate Care, P.O. Box 281, Wentworth, NC 27275.
