Donald Lee Walker

Reidsville: Donald Lee Walker, 64 of Reidsville, died Sunday, February 15, 2009 at Annie Penn Hospital. A graveside service will be held on Thursday, February 19, 2009, at 11:00 AM at Reidlawn Cemetery. Mr. Walker was born in Crossville, TN to the late Joe May and Onie Carr Walker. Donald was a loving husband of 45 years and a wonderful father, grandfather and brother. Along with his parents he was preceded in death by brothers, O.C. Walker and Carson Walker; sisters, Roxie Delk, Rhonda Mae Sells, Edna Ruth Roy, Ruby Hyder, Ollie Clark and Lola Jean McCann. Donald is survived by his loving wife, Judy Walker of the home; sons, Donald R. Walker and Charles Walker and wife Tonja all of Burlington; daughters, Donna Somers and husband, Roger, Sandra Wilson and husband, Stephen, and Patsy Owens and husband, Kevin all of Reidsville; 16 grandchildren, four great-grandchildren and brothers, Charlie and R.C. Walker. The family will receive friends at Wilkerson Funeral Home on Wednesday, February 18, 2009 from 6:00 – 8:00pm and other times at the residence of Sandra, 239 Strawberry Road, Reidsville, (336) 280-3163 Donald will be missed dearly by his loving family. Wilkerson Funeral Home will be assisting the family.
