Donald Lee "Donnie" Elliott

Reidsville: Donald Lee “Donnie” Elliott, Jr., 46, of 1107 Benton Lane, died on Saturday, July 12, 2008. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM, Wednesday, July 16th at Wilkerson Funeral Home with Rev. Dan Jones officiating. Interment will follow in Reidlawn Cemetery. Donnie was born in Rockingham County and was a   graduate of Reidsville Senior High and Elon College.   He was a member of First Presbyterian Church and a worked in lumber sales for many years.   He is survived by his parents, Donald and Carlene Elliott; children , Donald L. “Tripp” Elliott, III and Alexandra “Lexi” Elliott; mother of his children, Lisa N. Elliott, all of Reidsville; brother, Jimmy C. Elliott and wife, Shelia; niece, Ashlyn Elliott; nephew, Grey Elliott, all of Bear Creek, NC; grandmother, Pearl S. Palmer of Sallisaw, OK. The family will receive friends at Wilkerson Funeral Home on Tuesday, July 15th from 7:00 – 9:00 PM.   Other times the family will be at the residence. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Lowes United Methodist Church Youth Group, 3191 NC Highway 87, Reidsville, NC 27320.
