He will always be Denny to me. So many memories when we were young playing with other cousins agt grandma's. And the Christmases at grandma's and even the more trendy ones as adults. When he joined the military I admired his commitment and he was a hero to me. I once told him that and he said "I'm no hero " but he was to me. I asked was he ever anxious.. he said "no because I know God is with me, you may not know where I am but God does!" Well, I know where he is now...WITH GOD!! I rejoice that one day I'll see him again. I love you cousin.... I'll see on the other side of Jordan!

Denny was wonderful cousin and I'm saddened he is no longer with us here but I rejoice in knowing he is with Jesus and we will spend eternity together. I have many wonderful memories of us at grandmas when we were young and the last few years at our Christmas gatherings. I always expected Denny to outlive the rest of us fat, out-of-shape cousins so I was shocked by his death. The funeral service was very touching and was testimony to the wonderful person and servant Denny was. Denny's death reminds me of my own mortality and how I need to strive to be more Christ like as Denny was. I am sure grandma and grandpa, my mom and dad, Uncle Charlie and Aunt Magdalene, Uncle Marvin, and Gary and many other saints he knew were there to welcome him. You are in my prayers and hopefully we will get together this Christmas once again. Love you all. Randy

Deborah, We were saddened to learn of the passing of Dennis. We knew him since he was a child and attending church where Harold was the pastor. It is now a most difficult time, but you are not alone. We pray for you and the rest of the family. Edith and Dean Venable
