Debra Billingsley Vaughn

Debra Billingsley Vaughn, 65, of Reidsville, passed away peacefully on Monday, June 2, 2025.

Debra was born in Rockingham County to the late Robert Sr. Billingsley and Virginia Starnes Billingsley. She graduated from Reidsville High School in 1978.

Debra had a deep love for her family and found her greatest joy in spending time with her grandchildren. She enjoyed planting flowers, playing solitaire, and was known for her excellent cooking. She also shared a special bond with her beloved dog, Rockie. For a time, she worked cleaning manufacturing businesses.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Ricky Lee Billingsley.

Debra is survived by her loving husband, Carlton Vaughn; daughter, Amy Vaughn; son, Scott Vaughn; four grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. She also leaves behind her sisters: Shirley Justice, Sandra Stone (Larry), Glenda Isley (Bobby), and Dawn Smith; and her brothers: Lennis Billingsley, Keith Billingsley (Debrah), Robert Billingsley Jr., Michael Billingsley, and Tim Billingsley (Linda). Debra will be fondly remembered by numerous nieces and nephews, as well as a large and loving extended family.

She will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by all who knew her.
