Reidsville – Deborah Smith Smith, 49, of 1241 Richardson Drive, died Sunday, May 18, 2008 at Annie Penn Hospital. Funeral services will be held will be held 11:00 AM, Thursday, May 22, 2008 at the Wilkerson Funeral Home with Rev. Vincent Wall officiating. The burial will follow in Evergreen Memory Gardens. Deborah was born in Rockingham County to the late James Carl Smith and Betty Carter Yow. She was a graduate of Elon College in 1981. She was a school teacher working most of her career at Lincoln Middle School. She was passionate about teaching and caring for the children. She also enjoyed writing and loved decorating. She had exquisite taste and an eye for detail. Deborah was a loving wife, mother friend. She is survived by her husband, Tim Smith of the home; daughter, Meredith Smith and son, Peyton Smith, both of the home; brother, Todd Smith and wife, Ernestina of Miami, FL; parents-in-law, J.W. and Gaye Smith of Reidsville; brothers-in-law, Keith Smith and wife, Sandra of Kingston Springs, TN and Jeff Smith and wife, Dale of Eden, and numerous nieces and nephews.
