Deborah Setliff McDaniel

Deborah Setliff McDaniel, age 79, of Ruffin, North Carolina, went home to be with the Lord on Monday, July 13, 2026 at her home.

The memorial service will be held on Saturday, July 18, 2026 at Ruffin United Methodist Church at 1 pm. Visitation will be held at 12 pm, 1 hour prior to the service at the church.

Debbie was born in Rockingham county, NC on July 9, 1947 to the late Sarah Pyron and Drury F. Setliff. She was a graduate of Reidsville High School. Debbie worked for the Rockingham County Sheriffs Department for 22 years. After retirement, she worked with her brother at Car Needs in Reidsville. Debbie enjoyed reading and discussing countless books with her book club, playing bridge with friends and relaxing at the lake. Her favorite activity of all was spending time with family and friends.

Debbie will be remembered for her warmth, quiet strength, devotion to her family, and strong faith.

She is survived by her loving and devoted husband of 28 years, Buster McDaniel, son, Michael Wall, daughter, Tracy Priddy and husband Dean, granddaughter, Sarah Grace Priddy, and brother, Jimmy Setliff and wife Linda.
