Deborah Hamlett Bailey

Reidsville: Deborah “Debby” Hamlett Bailey, 60, of 414 Wilson Road, passed away Saturday, March 23, 2013 at Morehead Memorial Hospital. Funeral services will be held 11:00 AM, Tuesday, March 26, 2013 at Wilkerson Funeral Home with Chaplain Patricia Wright officiating. The interment will follow at Roselawn Memorial Gardens. Debby was born in Rockingham County. She was a voracious reader and loved life to the fullest. Always the life of the party, she never met a stranger. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and friend. She especially adored her grandchildren and would always provide food and a place in her home for stray animals. Debby was preceded in death by her son, Michael Trent; her father, John Hamlett and her brother, Johnny Hamlett. She is survived by her husband, Ken Bailey of the home; her daughters, Pam Bailey Wright, Kim Trent Green and husband, David and Kim Bailey all of Reidsville; her grandchildren, Britany Benfield and husband Ryan, Farrah McKinney, Cali Green, Julie Stanton, Dawson Wright, Brad Green, Paige Wright, Ella Green, Dakota Jarrell, Tanya Southard, Daisia Kernodle and Dalila Shelton; her great granddaughter, Maliah Benfield; mother, Ann Hall Carter; her step daughter, Nicki Bailey of Reidsville and special aunt, Evelyn Hamlett Brame. The family will receive friends from 7:00 – 9:00 PM, Monday, March 25 at Wilkerson Funeral Home and other times at Kim and David’s home (907 Country Club Drive).
