Deborah Agosto

Deborah Agosto, 61, passed away peacefully on February 22, 2024. 

A graveside funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM on Thursday, February 29, 2024, at Roselawn Memorial Gardens with Pastor Phil Surrett officiating. 

Deborah was born in Cook County, Chicago to Harry Agosto Maldonado and the late Ramonita Medina Irizarry. She dedicated her life to being a mother and grandmother. Debbie sought joy in cooking, reading, caring for her parents, spoiling her grandbabies, telling jokes and beating everyone at Words With Friends. Her intelligence, sharp wit and dark humor were unmatched however, so was her kind heart. 

She is preceded in death by her mother, Ramonita. 

Deborah is survived by her father, Harry Agosto Maldonado; daughter, Sarah N. Montes and son, Matthew N. Montes. She also leaves behind her beloved grandchildren, Matthew I. Taylor, Savannah E. Taylor, Koen K. Parrish, Carlos A.J. Taylor, Shane B. Baker, Korben O. Montes, Azima N.H. Montes, Conner F.R. Thomas, Yiramiyah K. Montes, JéMarie L. Thomas, Yashua K. Montes, Akiya Z. Montes and Aziya N. Montes; her siblings, Damaree Agosto Phillips, Sandra A. Agosto, and Harry Agosto, Jr.; nephews, William M. Velazquez and Brandt Agosto-Medina; and nieces, Sandee M. Velazquez and Shanda L. Schmidt. Along with  the aforementioned family, she also leaves behind countless aunts, uncles, cousins and a large and loving group of extended family and friends.
