Danny James

Daniel “Danny” Keith James, 60, went home to be with the Lord on Monday, November 16, 2020 surrounded by his family. A private memorial service will take place at a later date. Daniel was born in Rockingham County to Mary Ruth Ray and the late William Robert “Bobby” James. He was a loving father, son and brother. He was very social and loved working on auto and home projects. He loved animals and people and adopted many of both. Most of all, he loved his friends, family, and fur babies. Along with his father, He is preceded in death by his sister, Sharon Ray. Survivors include his daughters, Martha James and Theresa Clement; mother, Mary Ruth Ray; brothers, Frank and Billy James as well as Ronald Ray; grandchildren, Davolyn James, Sierra Ratliff, Savannah and Summer Davis as well as a large and loving group of friends, neighbors, and extended family.
