Clyde Henry Minor, Sr.

Clyde Henry Minor, Sr., 75, of Reidsville, passed away on Friday, April 5, 2024, at Cypress Valley Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.

A graveside service will be held at 2:00 PM, Monday, April 8, 2024, at Evergreen Memory Gardens with Rev. Andrew Brown officiating.   

Clyde was born in Rockingham County to the late Jasper Thomas Minor and Bertha Wall Minor.  He served his country in the US Army and retired from Cone Mills.  He was a huge NASCAR fan and especially Dale Earnhart, Sr., as well as NC State Basketball and Dallas Cowboys Cheerleader Fan.   He enjoyed attending Main Street United Methodist Church. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by brothers,  George Patrick Minor, Jasper Roy Minor, Junior Minor and Johnny Minor; sisters, Lola Mae Cox and Billie Jean Smith; and half- brother, Robert Wall.

He is survived by his sons, Clyde Henry Minor, Jr. and wife, Angela, Jack McLean Minor and wife, Bonnie; grandchildren, Danielle Osborne, Nevaeh Minor, Jack Minor, Jr, Austin Minor and Matthew Minor; great grandchildren, Elizabeth and Michael Osborne, Savannah, Kensington and Asaph Minor, and one on the way in May; brother, Harold Minor and wife, Glenda; sisters, Faye Burgess and husband, Eddie and Ann Minor.
