Catherine Shelton Underwood

Reidsville – Catherine Shelton Underwood, 51 of 802 Forest Street, passed away Sunday, June 5, 2011 at her home. A graveside service will be held at 11:00 AM on Wednesday, June 8, 2011 at Evergreen Memory Gardens with Elder David Underwood. Mrs. Underwood was born on January 11, 1960 to the late Horace and Frances Moore Underwood. Catherine had a love to take care of others. She was a loving mother and grandmother that loved her family deeply. Along with her parents she was preceded in death by her two brothers and one brother-in-law, Wayne Childrey. Catherine is survived by her son; Jeremy Shelton; daughter, Leann Shelton; grandchild, Elizabeth Shelton; brother, Robbie Underwood; sisters, Carol Childrey and Michelle Underwood; one step-brother and one step-sister. The family will receive friends from 7- 9 pm on June 7, 2011 at Wilkerson Funeral Home and other times at the home.
