Carrie Knowles Moore

Carrie Knowles Moore, 84, passed away on Monday, September 2, 2019 at Moses Cone Memorial Hospital. A graveside service will be held at 11:00 AM, Thursday, September 5, 2019 at Reidlawn Cemetery with Rev. Walter Daves officiating. Carrie was born in Rockingham County to the late James Franklin Knowles and Lillie Wilson Knowles. She was a member at Oak Grove Baptist Church and retired from Burlington Industries with 39 ½ years of service. She loved spending time in the mountains. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her brothers, Preston, Joe and Douglas Knowles; sister, Ara Knowles. She is survived by her husband, John Cecil Moore; son, Darrell Wayne Clark; sisters, Lottie Allen and Lillie Anderson; step children, Pamela Moore Green, Frances Moore and Sandy Moore Nahory.
