Carrie Evelyn Bradsher Combs

Reidsville – Evelyn B. Combs, 94, formerly of 716 Craddock Street, died Friday, February 22, 2008 at Avante of Reidsville. Funeral services will be held will be held 11:00 AM Monday, February 25, 2008 at Wilkerson Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Reidlawn Cemetery. Mrs. Combs was born in Rockingham County to the late Charly and Carrie Enoch Bradsher. She was a homemaker and a member of Eastside Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Herbert Combs. She is survived by her son, Jerry Combs and wife, Carolyn; daughter, Helen White and husband, Lester; grandchildren, Ramona Jessie, Darrel Combs and Mike Combs; 6 great grandchildren; 8 great great grandchildren; special caregiver, John Merricks. The family will receive friends on Sunday, February 24, 2008, from 6-8 PM at Wilkerson Funeral Home. Other times the family will be at 1310 Racine Blvd.
