Carolyn Perdue Gibson

Carolyn Jane Gibson, 70, died on February 23, 2014, at Annie Penn Hospital. A graveside funeral will be held on Thursday, February 27, 2014, at 2:00PM, at Reidlawn Cemetery. She was a member of Thompsonville Baptist Church, she was an avid bingo player in Burlington, and she was a waitress at Mayberry's for over 25 years. She was preceded in death by her mother, Alma Loftis Perdue; her husband, Cecil Albert Gibson; her son, Stephen Earl Gibson and her brother, Jerry Perdue. She is survived by her son, Yubon Preston Gibson; two daughters, Diane Gibson and Michelle Gibson Toler and husband, John; five grandchildren; her father, Milton Perdue; one brother, Mark Perdue and wife, Dawn; three sisters, Ellen Hall, Rachel Perdue and Brenda Church. The family will receive friends at the home at 589 Cook Florist Road.
