C.A. "Sandy" Brown

Clifford Albert “Sandy” Brown, 79, of Reidsville went home to be with Jesus Sunday, January 30, 2022, at Annie Penn Hospital surrounded by his loving family.

Funeral services will be held 11:00 AM, Wednesday, February 2, 2022, at Wilkerson Funeral Home with Rev. Ralph Clayton, Rev. Susan Carrick, and Rev. W.L. Wade officiating. The burial will follow at Evergreen Memory Gardens. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.

Sandy is the son of the late Clifford and Evelyn Brown. He always put God first and faithfully served in ministry in the Reidsville community for over 5 decades. Sandy was honored to be called by God to present the Gospel in any and every situation. No matter what, Sandy always put the needs of others first. He cherished his family and was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and friend. Along with his parents, Sandy was also preceded in death by his brother, Scott Brown.

Sandy is survived by his wife, Betty Ann Brown of 56 years; his daughters Angel Brown and Derinda Carter and husband Dennis; grandchildren Heath, Gray and Kelly Carter; sisters Cathy Phelps and husband Bob, and Pam Iven and husband Mike; and a large extended family.
