Bonnie took great pride in keeping an immaculate yard and looked forward to planting her flowers each year. She enjoyed making crafts, cooking, and especially baking sweets. She also loved playing the slots at the casino, playing the piano, and listening to classic country music.

Following her retirement, Bonnie moved to Smith Mountain Lake, where she embraced the lake life and enjoyed a new chapter filled with relaxation, adventure, and treasured memories. Her love of travel took her throughout the United States and abroad, allowing her to experience new places and make lasting memories along the way.

Bonnie will be remembered for her devotion to her family, her many interests, and the special relationships she maintained throughout her life. The love she shared with her children, grandchildren, and all who knew her will remain a lasting part of her legacy.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husbands, Clyde Pete Gammon and Joel B. Jackson, Jr.; and sister, Carlene Baity.
