Bobby Alexander Smith

Bobby Alexander Smith, 78, went home to be with the Lord on Friday, November 11, 2022, at Caswell House. The family will hold a private memorial service at a later date.

Bobby was born on September 30, 1944, to the late John and Doris Smith in Charlotte, NC. Bobby retired from US Gypsum after over 50 years of experience as an Electrician. He was a member of Ruffin Stacey Baptist church and a former member of the Reidsville Masonic Lodge #384. Bobby enjoyed spending time outdoors, gardening, golfing, and browsing through numerous flea markets. He was also an avid coin collector and loved to dance. He will be remembered for his caring nature and witty sense of humor.

He is survived by his children, Bobby Smith, Jr. and wife Megan, Ashley Smith Martin and husband Ken; grandchildren, Bobby “Alek” Smith III, Garrett Holick, Wesley Smith, Zachary Smith and wife Kelsey, Chelsie Ziglar and husband Luke, Chandler Pruitt and wife Abby, Jacob Martin, Nathan Martin and Shannon Martin; great grandchildren; Damien Smith, Serenity Smith, Kensley Ziglar, Grayson Ziglar and Emerie Pruitt; sister, Patsy Worley and her late husband Wayne and nephew, Jon Worley and wife Heather; and the mother of his children, Sandra Bolden.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in his memory to, Ruffin Stacey Baptist Church,  261 Estes Rd. Ruffin, North Carolina 27326.
