Bobby Joe Haley

Reidsville – Bobby Joe Haley, 69, of 240 Penny Lane, passed away Saturday, October 17, 2009 at Halifax Regional Hospital. Graveside services will be held 2:00 PM Tuesday, October 20, 2009 at Evergreen Memory Gardens with Rev. Jackie Talton officiating. Haley was born in Rockingham County to the late William and Carrie Eanes Haley and was a retiree of The American Tobacco Company. He loved life and camping and was an avid bluegrass musician. He was a great husband and will be greatly missed by his family and friends. Along with his parents he was preceded in death by a brother, Tommy Haley. Survivors include his wife, Linda Bean Haley; daughter, Sabrina Haley Chaney and husband, Kenneth; stepsons, Jerry Lucas and wife, Amanda and Jason Lucas; grandchildren, Haley Chaney, Alysssa and Brandon Lucas; brother, Ronnie Haley; sisters, JoAnne Hodnett, Peggy Beard, Linda Hazelwood; numerous nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends at Wilkerson Funeral Home on Monday, October 19 from 7:00 – 9:00 PM and other times at Haleyland.
