Blanche Moore Crowder

Madison – Blanche Moore Crowder, 77, formerly of 651 Massey Creek Road, went home to be with the Lord Thursday, March 27, 2008 at Britthaven Nursing Home. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM Saturday, March 29, 2008 at Smyrna Presbyterian Church with Pastor Tom Wray and Pastor Mike Davis officiating.   Interment will follow in the church cemetery. Mrs. Crowder was born in Rockingham County to the late Joe and Clarice Moore. She was a dedicated homemaker, loving wife, mother and grandmother. She was an accomplished seamstress and she loved to cook. She was a longtime member of Howard’s Chapel Christian Church. Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, John Ezra Crowder; 2 sisters and 3 brothers. Mrs. Crowder is survived by her children, Daryl Crowder and wife, Heather of Reidsville and Amy Stone and husband, Brian of Madison; step daughters, Ann Pastore of Madison and Becky Garrison and husband, Myron of Madison; grandchildren, Holden Crowder, Mason Crowder, Hailey Stanfield and Lacey Stanfield; step grandchildren, Tammy Cheshire, Shannon Cheshire, Michael Pastore, John Pastore, Dante’ Pastore, Jerome Pastore and Stephen Pastore; 10 step great grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
