Betty Gray Chrismon Toler

Betty Chrismon Toler, 91, Passed away peacefully on Saturday March 14, 2026.

A graveside funeral service will be held at 1:00 PM on Wednesday, March 18, 2026, at Lakeview memorial park, with Gene Toler officiating.

Betty was born in Guilford County to the late Marvin Chrismon and Ruth Hardy Chrismon. She graduated from Monticello High School in 1953. After school, she married the love of her life Benny Toler and she went to work with Jefferson Standard, where she retired after 38 years of service. She loved to travel. Together she and her husband traveled by RV across the entire US, Mexico, Canada and even up into Alaska. Betty collected antiques, loved to cook and enjoyed traveling to NASCAR races. Most of all she loved her family. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her brother, Keith Chrismon and her sister-in-law, Brenda Chrismon.

Betty is survived by her husband of 70 years, Benny Toler; numerous nieces and nephews and a large group of extended family and friends.

The Toler family would like to offer special thanks to Kenny Gordon for his friendship and care during a difficult time.
