Becky Ann Gibson Carter

Becky Ann Gibson Carter, age 73, of Eden, NC, passed away on August 27, 2025.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Esther Tate Gantt Gibson and James Whitfield Gibson.

Becky dedicated many years of her life to caring for others as a devoted caregiver. She had a special love for animals and always showed compassion and kindness to those around her.

Her greatest joy in life was her family. She leaves behind her daughter, Brandi Carter; her son, Larry Carter; her grandchildren, Hunter Carter, Jordan Hodges, Kyra Davis, Dallis Dillard, and Lennox Johnson; and her great-grandchildren, Milani Broadnax and Jerzey Santiago. She is also survived by her sisters, Karen and Otis Eanes, and Audrey Gibson, as well as her best friend of 56 years, June Loftis, who shared her home and life with her.

Becky cherished her grandchildren deeply and spent her last years lovingly caring for them. She will be remembered for her strength, selflessness, and the love she gave so freely.
