Barry Eugene Bibee, 67, of Reidsville, took his final ride home on Wednesday, November 26, 2025. The family will have a private celebration of life at a later date.
Barry was born in Rockingham County to the late Walter Eugene Bibee and Viloree Lovelace Bibee. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Sarah Bibee, and his niece, Ashlee.
He was a talented mechanic who absolutely loved Corvettes, classic cars, and hot rods. He took pride in restoring them, keeping them spotless, and collecting and building model cars whenever he wasn’t working on the real thing. He had a soft spot for fast cars and fast women and enjoyed every bit of that combination throughout his life. He loved going to White Lake and cooking out with his family, and nothing made him happier than spending time with his daughters—seeing them always brought out the best in him.
Barry is survived by his daughters, Amber Reynolds and husband Brandon, and Shannon Bibee and husband Joshua Worley; his grandchildren, Dianna, Sincere, and Brandon Jr.; his brothers, Mark Bibee and wife Margaret, and Steve Bibee; numerous aunts and uncles, especially his Aunt Linda and Aunt Kathy; and the mother of his children, Billie Jean Page.
The family would like to acknowledge Angie, Ann, and Melanie of AuthoraCare for the wonderful and compassionate way they cared for their father.
Barry lived his life like the cars he loved—strong as a Camaro, bold as a Mustang, and timeless as a Corvette. His road on earth may have ended, but the journey of his love and spirit continues in all who knew and loved him.
As you take your final ride, just know that you will always be remembered and loved until we are able to be with you again.
