Barry D Barker

Barry D. Barker, 69, went home to be with the Lord on Friday, February 27, 2026, at Moses Cone Hospital.

In honor of Barry’s request, a private graveside service was held on Monday, March 2, 2026 at Dan River Primitive Baptist Church.

Barry was a good father, husband and was very hardworking. He always provided for his family.

He was preceded I death by his parents, Dock Barker and Leatrice Pryor Brown.

Barry is survived by his wife of 19 years, Deborah Barker; daughter, Jennifer Barker Flippen and husband, Henry; sister, Teresa Burton; half-sisters, Tracey Brown Johnson, Amber Jarrell, Lori Manns; half-brothers, Rex Brown Timmy Barker and Wesley Barker; special friends, Bill and Robin Pegram.

Barry will be loved and missed by his family and friends.
