Barbara Strader Priddy

Barbara Strader Priddy, 84, passed away on January 8, 2021 at Gibson House, Hospice of Rockingham County with her family by her side. A graveside “Going Home Celebration” service will be held at 11:00AM on Monday, January 11, 2021 at Evergreen Memory Gardens with Rev. Gene Davis officiating. For those attending the service, the family request that you consider light colored clothing. Barbara was born in Rockingham County to the late Clyde Gilbert Strader and Mildred Stone Strader. She was a retiree of The American Tobacco Company and attended East Side Baptist Church. Along with her parents she was preceded in death by her infant sister, Martha Belle Strader and brother, Richard Strader. She is survived by her daughter, Donna Williams and husband, Allan; grandchildren, Kaitlyn Williams, Elysia Smith, Blake Smith and Ryan Smith; brother, William “Bill” Strader; sister, Lucille Martin and Charlotte Griner; sister-in-law, Mary Strader; nieces and nephews, Sharon, Byron, April and Wendy; great nephews, Trey, Tyler and Jacob; great great niece, Everly and special friend, Lea Ann Lankford. In Lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Rolling Ridge Riding in memory of Barbara at 2426 Narrow Gauge Road, Reidsville, NC 27320.
