Annie Lee (Ann) Thompson Branch

Annie Lee (Ann) Thompson Branch of Reidsville, NC, passed away on September 4 at the age of 89. She was born on December 17, 1936, to the late William Moorman Thompson Sr. and Deliah Fielder Thompson in Franklin County, VA. Annie Lee (Ann) was the youngest of 8 children.

A Memorial Service will be held at 1:00 PM, Saturday, September 19, 2025, at Wilkerson Funeral Home. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.

Annie Lee (Ann) retired from Amp Incorporated (Tyco Electronics) in Greensboro, NC, with 20+ years of service.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers, William Thompson Jr. (Betty), Clyde Thompson (Marie), Edward Thompson (Sally), and Jack Thompson (Louise), and sisters, Mary Updike (George), Frances Robertson (Carroll), and Pearl Thompson.

Annie Lee (Ann) is survived by her son, Mike Branch (Pam) of Bedford, VA, and her life partner of 44 years, David Stevens of Reidsville, NC. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
