Annie Mae Chilton

Annie Mae Chilton, 86, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her family.

Funeral services will be held at 2PM, Saturday, August 14, 2021 at Wilkerson Funeral Home with Pastor Kenny Houston officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.

Annie Mae was born in Rockingham County to the late Charlie Buck Fields and Nellie Mae Lockamy Fields. Her favorite holiday was Christmas. Every inch of her house was decorated. She loved to flea market, holding yard sales and traveling. Most of all she loved spending time with her family. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her.

Along with her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband of over 60 years, Garland Chilton; son, Garland Chilton Jr.; sister, Opal Oliver and brother, James Fields.
Survivors include her children, Jerry G. Chilton (Wanda), Bernice C. Paschal (Rex) and Joseph M. Chilton (Charlene); grandchildren, Tracy Weaver, Chasity Chilton, Jason Chilton, Travis Chilton, Jordan Chilton, Jessica Chilton, Brandon Paschal, BJ Paschal, Jacob Paschal and Carley Paschal; sister, Ruby Piner; 7 great grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren along with Miley Mae her loyal canine companion and a loving group of extended family and friends.
