Amy Leigh Mitchell

Amy Leigh Mitchell, 30, passed away on January 9, 2019 at Joan & Howard Woltz Hospice Home in Dobson, NC. A funeral service will be held at 1:00PM on January 12, 2019 at Wilkerson Funeral Home Chapel. The burial will follow in Lively Stones Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will see friends on Friday evening from 6-8 PM at the funeral home. Amy was born in Forsyth County to Susan Cross Mitchell and the late Dwayne Alvis Mitchell. She loved children especially her niece and nephew and her dog “Baby Girl”. Along with her father she was preceded in death by her great grandparents, Mr. & Mrs. William Paul Southard and Cecil and Ruth Cross; aunt and uncle, Gary and Patricia Cross. Amy is survived by her mother, Susan Cross Mitchell; grandmother, Ethel Mitchell; brother, Brandon Mitchell and wife, Christina, many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.
