Tina, I am so sorry to hear of Bud's passing. I think about the day Sam and I were introduced to your Dad and Betty. They were so warm and welcoming to family from Kentucky; we knew he was a special man. We looked forward to seeing them and visiting at the Purgason reunion with all of you. I'd say if talking genealogy is allowed in heaven Sam and Bud definitely will be catching up. My thoughts and prayers are withall of you.

Our family grew up with Betty. Walt was welcomed into the family after they married. We saw them often and when he was at our houses, he would ask about his "to do" list. He was always willing to lend a helping hand. He lived a wonderful life and will forever be missed. So thankful we have wonderful memories. Bibs and Phyllis

My thoughts and prayers for Betty, Tina, Ben and family. Bud was one of the finest men Ive ever known and loved. My father, Lewis Brown, and Bud were best friends growing up and both admired and loved each other throughout life. Bud was like a father to me. He was kind, wise and always ready to help. Our world lost a great man but heaven gained an angel. Rest In Peace, Bud. Richard Daryl Brown
