Terry Lee Presnell

Terry Presnell of Reidsville, NC, born in Guilford County, NC passed away peacefully at his home, in his bed, surrounded by his loving family at 9:30 PM, Tuesday, December 15, 2020. Terry was an outstanding son, partner, father, grandfather and an exceptional example to us, of how and what we should all strive to be. Growing up impoverished Terry vowed he would never live that way as an adult and from his first job at Brendle’s until he began at the age of 18 working for Carolina Ribbon, where he quickly rose up the ranks and met every challenge life gave him. Eventually opening his own company that he ran successfully for 25 years until his death. Terry is survived by his spouse of 20 years, Clinton Dobson; children, Christopher (Carly), Matthew and Michaela Presnell; grandchildren, Cayden and Harper Presnell; mother, Rhonda Brown (Terry); brothers, John and Stephen (Heather); nephew, Dakota; nieces, Haley and Lily. Not a day will pass that we will not miss him and look forward to the day that we are all reunited with him once again. His love for his family and all those people fortunate to know him will be the glue that keeps us united for the rest of our lives. There will be a celebration of life for Terry at Wilkerson Funeral Home, Reidsville, NC in January after a brief period of mourning by our family. Christmas was his favorite time of year, so decorations are still being hung throughout December to celebrate his life and will remain through the end of January. Please check Wilkerson Funeral Home website at www.wilkersonfuneral.com for the service date in January and come join us in celebrating the life of an exemplary human being, an angel on earth and now in Heaven, Terry Presnell.

Oh, I would give anything to go back in time. The weekends we spent at Terrys and Clintons. Stayed up all night singing Karaoke. My mom and sister would be downstairs watching the BGs. These memories will last a lifetime. I know Terry is watching down on us. We are thankful he isnt suffering anymore. I love you nephew!

Terry came in to our family & quickly became our son #6. We loved him dearly & he even called himself #6 when he talked to us. We could not have asked for a better partner for our son Clinton. He was always so joyful & looked for the good in everyone. He will always be in our hearts but we know he is now at peace.
