Sandra Rebecca Ayers

Reidsville: Sandra Rebecca Ayers, 49, passed away peacefully at her home on Wednesday, February 13, 2019. The family will receive friends from 6-8 PM, Saturday, February 16, 2019 at Wilkerson Funeral Home. Sandra was born to Ernest Woodworth Shelton and Geraldine DeHart Shelton. She loved crafting, genealogy, animals. She was very creative often writing or capturing life on film. She was an old soul with a lust for life, the kindness of an angel and the strength of gladiator. Most of all she loved being a wife, mother and grandmother, she will be greatly missed. She is survived by her husband of 20 years John M. Ayers; children, Stephanie A. Holder, Matthew G. Holder, Vicky J. Dodson (Chris), Katie J. Strandberg (Joseph); grandchild, Joshua L. E. Johnson; beloved pet, L.J. and a large extended family.
