Roy Robert Fields

REIDSVILLE- Roy Robert Fields, 65, of 1613 Pecan Road, went home to be with The Lord on Wednesday, January 10th, 2018 at his home. A memorial service will be held 3:00 PM Saturday, January 13th, 2018 at Wilkerson Funeral Home and the family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the chapel. Roy was a native of Guilford County and was the son of the late, Bill and Leona Fields. He retired from Cone Mills after 35 years of service. He was a hard-working man but enjoyed his down time as well. He enjoyed spending time with his family and friends, working on cars, riding his motorcycle; the open road and his radio. He loved his family and he especially adored his grandson, Levi. Along with his parents, he was also preceded in death by his half sister, Mae Cook. Roy is survived by his wife, Rhonda Fields of the home; his children, Chris Fields of Greensboro, Megan Fields Martin and husband, William and Rob Fields all of Reidsville; his stepson, Daniel Brewer and wife, Holly of McLeansville; his grandson, Levi Roy Martin of Reidsville; his sisters, Bobbe Whitaker of McLeansville and Gloria Brewer and husband, Jim of Stokesdale; his brother, Darrell Fields and wife, Lisa of Climax; his mother-in-law, Irene Mizell of Kernersville; a large extended family and many friends.
