Ollie Lucille Wilson Paschal

Ollie Lucille Wilson Paschal, 96, died on 1/17/21 at Brian Center in Concord,NC. A graveside service will be held at Reidlawn Cemetery on Friday at 2:00 PM with Pastor Ralph Clayton officiating. Born in Rockingham County in 1924 to Ed and Rosie Wilson, she was preceded in death by her parents, husband Malcolm, and all her siblings; Earl, James, Felt, Junior, Glenn, Hal, and one sister, Libby Richardson. She is survived by one son, Ronnie Paschal wife Cindy of Pearl Mississippi, one daughter, Shirly Standhal of Concord, NC, five grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren and several nieces and cousins. Ollie belonged to community Baptist Church and taught the “Busy Bee’s” nursery class in the 1950’s. After her husbands death in 1970, she worked at Brookside Industries for over 25 years. After retirement she worked at Highgrove assisted nursing center where she later became a resident in 2018 prior to moving to Brian Center in 2020. An excellent homemaker, seamstress, and lover of plants, she enjoyed being home, sitting outside in the sun, caring for her family, and being with her numerous friends. She will be loved and remembered for her straight-forward way of speaking, her friendly generous nature and her belief in being honest above all else.
