Louise Jeanette Tippett

Reidsville: Louise Jeanette Tippett, 73, of Broad St., died Wednesday, November 28, 2018 at Annie Penn Hospital. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM on Monday, December 3, 2018 at Wilkerson Funeral Home with Dr. Ron Tuck officiating. The burial will follow in Evergreen Memory Gardens. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home and other times at her sister’s home (Barbara Hutchens, 325 Cook Florist Road). Louise was born December 8, 1944 in Guilford County to the late Frank Thomas and Jettie Elizabeth Smith. She loved her family and friends and had a heart of gold. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her brothers, Leland, Jackie and Dale Smith. She is survived by her daughter, Debora Canfield; 3 grandsons, D.J. Matkins, Michael Matkins and wife, Magan and Matthew Matkins and wife, Candace; 5 great grandchildren, Avery, Jace, Abby, Emma and Ava Matkins all of Mississippi; her brothers, Frank “Jr” Smith and wife, Margaret, Richard Smith and wife, Shirley, Charles Smith and wife, Ethel, Darrell Smith and wife, Karen, Wayne Smith, David Smith and wife, Nellie, Glenn Smith and wife, Mary and Ralph Smith and wife, Mandy: her sisters, Almeta Apple and husband, Paul, Jewel Hutchens and husband, Wayne, Barbara Hutchens and husband, Howard and Frances Worley and husband, Dennis; special niece Kimberly Powell and husband, Kim and their children, Landon and Janna Powell, that she lived with for a while before moving to the nursing home; and a large extended family.
