Every family has a special angel and Aunt Late is definitely ours. She will be missed something fierce.

Aunt Kate (Aunt Cake to some of us), is the beacon of our family. She is the best of us always was, always will be. Her home - whether in the Bronx, Brooklyn, Staten Island, or North Carolina has always been a sanctuary for all who were blessed enough to visit. She taught me many, many things (I failed at learning to crochet and embroider!), most importantly, to love unconditionally and to live life in joy despite our pain. Aunt Kate's grace was balanced by her ability to embrace the importance of being silly. Her light will continue to shine on all of us. ~ Wendy Amengual Wark

A beautiful woman whose heritage of love and compassion I am proud to have been apart of. You will be dearly missed grandma. Sing and be free running to the arms of Jesus.
