Judy Hooper Sizemore

Judy Hooper Sizemore mercifully passed away on December 15, 2018 at Hospice of Rockingham County with her beloved daughter and son-in-law, Suzanne and Ron Vernon at her side, she was 73. Judy was born and raised in Reidsville, NC, a town she loved to call home where she had some of her fondest memories, best friends, and met the love of her life, Stanley Sizemore. She married Stanley in 1960 and they later started a family having 3 children, David, Suzanne, and Madge (Sissy). Judy never met a stranger and always made others feel warm and welcome with her jovial flattery. Judy’s first love was her family, but she also loved jewelry, pets, coffee and conversation, the beach, and her church, St. Thomas Episcopal Church of Reidsville. Judy, David, and Sissy will forever be remembered and their spirit will live with those that loved them. Predeceased by her husband, David Stanley Sizemore, Sr.; son, David Stanley Sizemore, Jr.; daughter, Madge Kemp Sizemore; father, Arch Boyd Hooper; mother, Madge Kemp Hooper; brothers, Billy Hooper, Robert Hooper, and Arch Boyd Hooper, Jr. Survived by her brothers, Walter Hooper and David (Emma Sue) Hooper; and daughter, Suzanne (Ron) Vernon. The family would like to express a special thank you to Billy Hooper, Gina Foley, Hospice of Rockingham County, and The Very Rev Dr. Richard Miles of St. Thomas Episcopal Church.
